"We're a small business, and we continue to be a family business," says Paul Robinson, vice-president of operations. "We were the first in this business in Calgary, and we've earned our place by word of mouth."
Being a family-owned business, rather than a big chain, means the owners and staff are able to be more hands-on when it comes to making sure customers get the service their vehicles need.
"As an independent, we can choose our offerings from all the major oil brands," Robinson says. "We have a house oil — Petro-Canada Supreme — but we also carry other big brands, like Mobil 1, and we put a name-brand Fram oil filter on all our cars."
