For 11 years Hong Lee has owned and operated the Jiffy Lube oil change shop in Coquitlam along Clarke Road.
He and his four employees have known for four years about the possible expansion of the SkyTrain, and with the new Evergreen Line plans in motion, the idea is quickly turning into reality.
"I co-operated with all TransLink requests for my business evaluation," Lee wrote in a letter to The NOW. "I believed that I would be treated justly in this matter as I have given [my] co-operation to [the] Evergreen Line project."
But Lee recently heard back from TransLink and was shocked at the amount he said he was offered: $50,000.
